Area Sales Manager- Lancashire
Townson Tractors Ltd is a well established family run company selling new and used agricultural equipment for over 50 years. Due to our recent growth and exciting plans for the future we now require an Area Sales Manager for Lancashire.
About the role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Lancashire area and growing our commercial portfolio through marketing initiatives and prospecting both new and existing customer opportunities
As main franchise dealer for market leading manufacturers such as New Holland, JCB, Yamaha and Pottinger, this is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the top brands within our industry
The main duties of this role will include, but are not limited to:
• Actively prospecting new leads and responding to all sales enquires
• Build customer relationships within the territory
• Execute all aspects of the sales process form lead capture through to deal closure
• Confidently sell the features and benefits of both product and our company
• Conduct demonstrations of machinery in field/on farm
• Monitor sales in the area using manufacturer CRM tools
• Attend manufacturer training events
• Attend trade shows within the territory
About you
• Previous sales experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of Agricultural Machinery, New Holland and JCB is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
• Excellent time keeping and organisation skills
• This role would suit someone that lives within the territory
• IT Literate
• Full UK driving licence
Hours of work for this position will be a minimum of 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings on a 3 week rotor basis

Parts Counter Advisor

As a family run company for over 50 years, we are very proud of the levels of customer support we offer here at Townson Tractors. As main franchise dealer for market leading manufacturers such as New Holland and JCB, it is imperative to maintain exacting levels of customer support and satisfaction. Due to our recent growth and exciting plans for the future we now require a Parts Counter Advisor to enable us to achieve this.

The ideal candidate will have:-

• Experience within the agriculture industry, car industry or similar
• Have the ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
• Ability to communicate and work with people at all levels
• Able to build rapport with customers and colleagues, and provide excellent customer service
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Attention to detail
• Flexible and positive with an outgoing approach to work
• Friendly and approachable manner so you can assist internal and external customers
• Full driving licence required
The job involves:
• Processing orders via various channels: phone, email, website, social media & counter
• Promote and sell parts to meet customer needs
• Be involved in proactive marketing campaigns
• Supply service department with parts as required
• Assist in keeping the parts inventory orderly and up to date
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Organising & Despatching orders to customers
